This classification is now called ACS Technician MOC 565 AFc type---herc-c-130, dash-8-10, tutors, twin otters, bell helos. mallard, spit fires, Last recent employers,Victoria air maintenance,casual/spar Edmonton,contracting/con air,contracting.

Aircraft Structures Technician Metal Technician: -Proficient in all aspects of technical drawing -Heat treatment of all metal alloys -Corrosion control. -Bending, shaping, forming for all metal alloys. -Design manufacture, and installation of A/C modifications, tools fixtures and jigs -A/C fasteners. -Tubing manufacturing. (Flared,Flareless, Doubleflared) -Knowledge in all workshop related equipment. -Aluminum oxide and silicon carbide sand blasting. -Wire rope and associated hardware. -Honeycomb structures. -Precision measuring instruments. -All types of A/ C repairs, from scab to flush patches.
